Resum

Outskirt with an increasing surface, population, poverty and contrast, characterizes today’s metropolis. Conventional nets of transport, sustained on great structures and volumes, are not enough to give them territorial cover. They are economically unviable because they required density and inadequate in scale because they respond to a regional (macro) logic. ¿How can we articulate a reunion between mobility (and its support, transportation) and the present urbanism? ¿How can planning interprets, infrastructures and transport services? ¿How to structure territorial and social cohesion with transports policies, considering intersectorial relation with public policies?. This paper provides innovative theoretical and methodological bases to study mobility, and the empiric evidence as a result of its application. Access Geography is shown and transversal disconnections that mobility establishes between transport and health policies, in Buenos Aires outskirt.
